Logo and packaging design for a Hong Kong–inspired bakery café in Germany. The owner wanted to bring a little piece of home with him, so the brand was built around one of Hong Kong’s most loved bakery classics: the pineapple bun.
The playful bun mascot gives the café a friendly, nostalgic personality, while the colours and packaging nod to old-school Hong Kong café culture. The idea was to create something that feels instantly familiar to Hong Kong people overseas, while still being fun and inviting for anyone discovering a pineapple bun for the first time.
