Crystal Jane Wong

CJ is a multidisciplinary designer who loves making things look good, make sense, and sometimes make people smile. Her work spans branding, graphic design, web, print, infographics and illustration, with a soft spot for playful ideas, bold visuals and projects with a bit of personality.

Originally from Toronto, CJ spent more than a decade in Hong Kong as Creative Director and Co-owner of Cranes Media Company, working with everyone from small startups to global brands including Air France, KLM, Apple, Mercedes-Benz, Nike, Panasonic, UNICEF and WWF.

When she’s not designing for clients, she’s usually drawing something, making stickers, experimenting with prints, creating characters, or turning a random idea into a project just for fun.

Now settled in Stouffville with her wife, Maggie, CJ enjoys putting her design experience back into the local community through nonprofit, volunteer and community-based creative work. She especially loves projects that bring people together, support a good cause, or simply add a little more colour and joy to everyday life.

Always curious about new tools, technology and creative trends, CJ is happiest when she gets to learn something new, solve a design problem, and make something people actually want to look at.
